I have spent over a decade sitting across from couples just like you.

And I built the system I wish I could have handed every
single one of them.

I help couples who have gone from romantic to roommates reconnect with each other.

Here is what you need to know about me.

I have been a licensed marriage and family therapist for a decade. In that time, I have worked with hundreds of couples. And the couple I kept meeting, over and over, was not the one on the verge of divorce. It was the one that looked perfect from the outside and felt hollow on the inside.

Two good people. Doing everything right. Kids, careers, a home they built together. And at the end of the day, sitting in silence because they had nothing left to give each other.

I created Wayfinding with HEART™ because those couples deserve a real solution, not another article about love languages or a suggestion to plan more date nights.

The moment that redirected everything.

The idea for Elaroco did not come from a business plan. It came from a quiet evening in my kids’ room, holding my son while my daughter slept in the next crib.

The house was still for the first time all day. And in that stillness, a thought I had been pushing away finally surfaced: I was spending my days teaching other couples how to stay connected while my own schedule left almost no room for the kind of presence I was prescribing.

I loved being a therapist. I still do. But I realized I cared more about the format than about serving the families who needed it, including my own.

So I started building something different. A way to take a decade of clinical pattern recognition, thousands of hours of couple work, and six years of graduate-level training in relationship dynamics and deliver it in a format that fits how busy parents actually live. Not less rigorous. Just more accessible.

That is how Elaroco was born. From the intersection of clinical expertise and real life.

The reason my approach is different from everything else out there.

If you have looked into relationship programs before, you have probably seen the same advice recycled in different packaging: plan date nights, be more intentional about intimacy, learn each other’s communication styles.
None of that is wrong. But none of it works when there is unaddressed hurt sitting underneath everything.

I have sat across from enough couples to know what actually drives the disconnect. It is not a lack of love, or a lack of effort. It is the resentment that built quietly during the hardest years of becoming parents. The invisible scorekeeping. The moments where one partner needed the other and that need went unmet, unspoken, and unresolved.

That is why Wayfinding with HEART™ begins with two full modules on healing and nervous system regulation before communication, reconnection, or intimacy are even introduced. I refuse to build something that sets people up for a temporary spark followed by the same old patterns.

The closeness, the playfulness, the renewed intimacy, those are the result of doing the deeper work first. And when couples arrive there with a solid foundation, it actually holds.

My Clinical Edge

I am not a life coach who pivoted into relationships, or someone who read a few books and built a brand. I am a clinician who spent a decade doing direct therapeutic work with couples in complex relational dynamics.

What that means in practice: I can identify a negative cycle within minutes. I can hear the pattern underneath the words a couple is saying and name what they are actually fighting about. I know how to interrupt escalation before it damages trust. And I built all of that pattern recognition into a framework couples can learn and use on their own.

For the partner whose brain works in systems and data.

I am married to a mechanical engineer. So trust me, I understand the partner who is sitting there right now thinking, "This sounds like feelings stuff. Does she know what she is talking about?"

Well I'm happy you asked! My graduate research thesis focused specifically on couple relationship education, how to design and deliver programs to couples that actually produce lasting results, not just temporary warm feelings after a weekend retreat. I studied what content was essential for couples to learn, what delivery formats led to real behavioral change, and what made the difference between a program that sounded good and one that actually worked.

That research shaped every module inside Wayfinding with HEART™. I didn’t build this program on vibes and good intentions. It is built from clinical experience, yes, hundreds of couples over the past decade. From personal experience, yes, holding onto my own marriage while raising twins and running businesses. But I also built it on academic research about what actually moves the needle for couples.

I have thought through everything from Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Systems Theory, which looks at all the layers of environment that impact a couple, to the very practical question of what really helps two exhausted parents who just want the spark back when life is loud and fast. So whether you are the partner who felt something reading this page, or the partner who needs to know the methodology is sound before you commit, this program was built with both of you in mind.

What drives this work

You do not have to wait until something breaks to build something better. The couples I serve are not in crisis. They are in a season where the demands of parenting and careers have quietly overtaken their connection. It did not happen because they failed. It happened because nobody taught them how to maintain closeness under that kind of pressure.

I also believe that the small, quiet moments are the ones that matter most. The Tuesday evening. The Saturday morning. The ten minutes after the kids go to bed. Those are where a marriage is either built or eroded. And most of the time, the thing that changes your relationship is not a grand gesture. It is a small shift, repeated consistently, until it becomes who you are as a couple.

Beyond the Work

I have been with my husband for 18 years, married for 8. We are raising twins in San Antonio. I love travel, hiking, and trying new foods, something my husband and I turned into a shared passion early in our relationship that we still carry today. I am living in the same season as the couples I serve, and that is not a coincidence. It is what keeps this work honest.

I built this for couples who refuse to settle for a marriage that just functions.

If you want a relationship that feels alive, connected, and worthy of the life you are building together, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
